Students who are seriously interested in Asian culture will have an opportunity to explore what it means to live and grow up in Asian countries. Together we will learn to appreciate and understand many aspects of these cultures.

Some of the topics of interest are: Asian art, music, poetry, food, family life, customs, climate, language, clothing, work, school, and environment. We will have fun making Chinese lanterns, Japanese Origami, and locating Asian countries on a world map.

We will use online resources, books, and artwork. Students will have the opportunity to write to the Asian embassies in Washington D.C. to request information and brochures.
