Grading PoliciesThe following are the percentage values assigned to each category:
Student Planners Assignments must be written in student planners every day, and must be turned in on time. For each day an assignment is late (unless a note is written by a parent/guardian because of illness or other emergencies), five percent will be deducted from the grade received. Behavior Expectations Students are expected to follow the guidelines which West Frederick Middle School has outlined in the Cadet Code. If a student fails to follow these guidelines, I will contact the parent so we can discuss the problem and together work out a solution.Each day we encourage students to exhibit exemplary behavior and to develop character traits which they will extend through the rest of their lives.It is very important that we keep communication open between home and school.
