The Lost Works of Socrates?

Socrates never wrote a word. Actually, he probably wrote some words (grocery lists and the like), but nothing he may have written has survived. So it seems that the lost works of Socrates will remain lost. As a consolation, if you find the Socrates depicted by Plato and others to be unsatisfactory, take a look at these works written by Xenophon, the Greek general:
